Client hangs when trying to connect from unauthorized IP
Brief Description: If the client is connecting from an IP that is not allowed by the Server, the client hangs with no useful options.
Operating System (OS and version): Client - Windows 7, 64 bit Server - Ubuntu 14.04 LTS
OpenBazaar version (shown on About OpenBazaar page in menu):
Both - 1.1.6
Hardware: Client - Intel Dual Core 3 ghz, 4 GB RAM Server - Bitnodes.net (Linode I think) VPS, 1 core, 1 GB RAM
Reproducible (Always / Almost Always / Sometimes / Rarely / Couldn't Reproduce): Always
Steps to reproduce:
- Start Server with python openbazaard.py start -da some-ip-not-the-client-ip
- Connect to server from client with IP other than some-ip-not-the-client-ip
Observed Behavior: Page loading graphic which within a second or two adds the message
Loading this page is taking longer than expected. and two buttons Reload and Go to Discover neither of which are useful.
Expected Behavior: I would expect to see something to the effect that access is denied. Options to edit the server data or select another server might be more useful.
