Yes everything works as expected with `mgtifname='!remote!'`. But the server only has one interface which is `eth0`, so it can't find anything else.

Rocky 9 works fine with latest [xcat-core snap](https://xcat.org/files/xcat/repos/yum/devel/core-snap/) + [xcat-dep devel](https://xcat.org/files/xcat/repos/yum/devel/xcat-dep/rh9/) + EPEL + CRB repos and https://github.com/xcat2/xcat-core/pull/7295. Some minor issues are left but provisioning stateless/stateful etc. works fine.

Thank you for your contribution! There are some issues with this PR because it removes executable bit from some scripts with missing shebang lines. This will be fixed in #7441.

Unfortunately this is not possible, but you could add your changes to `/opt/xcat/lib/perl/xCAT_plugin/dhcp.pm`. **Edit**: Ups ddns.pm, not dhcp.pm of course.

yes unfortunately :( But the testing in the background is way bigger testing all different OSs already. And also way more tests with real OS deployment etc.
