Swap_Eyes and Rotate_180 Problems

Open edzuantengku opened this issue 9 years ago • 6 comments

I use direct mode as i can never get it to look perfect using extended mode. Flipping on extended mode causes an offset (cross eyed) in the HMD which is really frustating.

I've given up on extended mode. I'm currently using direct mode. And I landscape flip my main screen.

I've tried enabling Swap Eyes and Rotate_180 to get the view to work on my HMD but this causes again some offset.

Same issue here! Been trying to mess with the .json file and didn't have a lot of luck so far.

@edzuantengku , @alenperic

Are you having issues with HDK (if so, which version 1.4/2.0 ?) or some other HMD? In our recent release, we fixed swap_eyes setting specifically for dual input HMDs. What is the version of OSVR-Runtime/SDK are you using?

@mars979 on the hdk2.0. Will need to check back on the runtime version.

Windows has an idea of how much larger it should make items on a screen depending on its resolution. Windows 10 in particular seems to like to zoom in on the HDK 2.0 and other displays. Right-click and changing Display Settings in Extended mode, sliding the "Change teh size of text, apps, ..." slider to the left (100%) has been helpful to a number of people.

I am facing the same issue. If anyone knows the way out, please throw some light upon what can be done. I am stuck now!

Did adjusting the Windows settings as described on the December 5th posting fix the problem for you?
