Main menu in proj.org in mobile phone not shown
This issue is about the documentation in https://proj.org/
I just opened it today in my mobile phone, and the "hamburger menu" in the top left corner (three horizontal bars) does not do anything. If I remember correctly, it was opening the main menu.
It is reproducible (in my Ubuntu) in chrome ("device toolbar") and firefox ("responsive design mode").
I do not know if it is related, but the search bar in the normal mode (not in a mobile phone, but a PC), is only showing "Searching..."
For instance: https://proj.org/search.html?q=mercator&check_keywords=yes&area=default#
As an example of the desired behaviour, the PR readthedocs works:
https://osgeo-proj--3538.org.readthedocs.build/en/3538/
I can confirm the problem. Perhaps the fix is just to wait until we've migrated over to RTD?
I checked it in proj.org today (once 9.2.0 was released), and it still fails (as expected).
In the testing environment for readthedocs it is failing as well (IIRC it didn't fail some time ago) https://pointcloud.org/en/9.1/search.html?q=mercator&check_keywords=yes&area=default It has the same problems, plus the version selector in the bottom left that is also not doing anything.
However 9.0 works:
https://pointcloud.org/en/9.0/search.html?q=mercator&check_keywords=yes&area=default
Still waiting on completing the migration of the apex domain to RTD...
This issue seems to be fixed in https://proj.org via #3674 Thanks @rouault
In https://pointcloud.org (RTD) it is working for latest but not in stable nor 9.1.

Are we ready to complete the migration?

I notice that https://pointcloud.org/en/9.2/ doesn't exist as a URL. https://pointcloud.org/en/stable/ seems to match 9.2 (since https://pointcloud.org/en/stable/download.html points to 9.2.0 download).
More work needed on the redirects and version settings in RTD then.
Talking about RTD, will it keep somehow the old links? For instance the urls https://proj.org/news.html or https://proj.org/operations/projections/tmerc.html do not exist as https://pointcloud.org/news.html or https://pointcloud.org/operations/projections/tmerc.html (404 returned). I know that now it includes the version in the url, but that will break any old link to specific documentation. (not a blocking problem, but it would be nice be redirected to stable version for instance).
I notice that https://pointcloud.org/en/9.2/ doesn't exist as a URL.
It was an oversight after the 9.2 release. The 9.2 branch is now activated, and set as the default version (previously this was 9.1).

Yes, this possible with redirects, so this should eventually be resolved.
The
9.2branch is now activated
is it done on the readthedocs website itself ? I'm not sure if I've access to this (not through my github account at least). Probably that some extra step will be required in HOWTO-RELEASE regarding this
@rouault the RTD version controls are at https://readthedocs.org/projects/osgeo-proj/versions/ (and I've sent you an admin invite, which is required to manage versions).
I can update the HOWTO-RELEASE docs after the transition.
I've sent you an admin invite
I haven't received it
Perhaps check the notifications to https://readthedocs.org/profiles/rouault/ ?

I don't see anything
ah, just got the invite ! Thanks
