Surfaces: suggestions

[v2021.10.2] The surface functionality is already excellent and proving very useful. Some suggestions which may not be too much of a stretch ...

• Transparency: image below shows an application understanding the relationship of wells to various surfaces. which would be massively improved if the surfaces could have transparency. There is a lot of value in visualising data in the tool which is not tied to the grid.
• Depth contours: would be a useful option with properties to define lines, line colour, thickness, labels, digits, size, font etc. Its very nice as in other products for some lines to be heavier (default every 5th). Maybe consider colour scale shading.
• Filters, intersections, cut planes: interface to control extent of surface, only on intersections, defined by cut plane, within a polyline ... such options would enhance utility of the surface
• Well tops: an interface / attribute to show on well trajectories where a surface intersects independent from displaying the surface object.

Good suggestions. The "only on intersections" is maybe pointing to the "Surface Intersection Curve" option.

Yes, RE the Surface Intersection Curves this is the stuff ... I had not seen that functionality, the tool remains full of surprises even though I am using it on a near daily basis!
