[Bug] Cannot get out of MPR when going in from 2x2 with mixed studies in viewports

Describe the Bug

If you enter to go into MPR from a 2x2 grid that contains multiple studies (of different modalities), there are errors when you try to leave MPR mode.

Found in OHIF version: 3.7.0, Commit Hash: 5ddf8a16027255d28dc01c1740099cf85bbcf458 **note that i am unable to get into the OHIF dev version this am to retry it there as well

Steps to Reproduce

1. Select study COVID-19-NY-SBU with 1054 instances with MR
2. Go to the viewer page in 2x2 layout
3. from the study panel select the All tab
4. Drag a CR series to Viewport A
5. Drag a CT series to Viewport B
6. open developer's console
7. Click into Viewport C (= MR) and select the MPR tool = the MR study appears in MPR mode
8. Click on the MPR tool again to go back to 2x2 layout = error appears (hanging protocol could not be applied) & console also has errors
9. At this point you cannot get out of MPR mode - selecting a new grid layout has the same errors

The current behavior

Errors and cannot get out of MPR mode except to go back to the study list

The expected behavior

should be able to go in and out of MPR mode easily without error

This issue does not occur; however, the old series are not preserved, which aligns with the new design. Therefore, I will close this as intended behavior, not a bug.
