DRUG_ERA Script Issue

https://ohdsi.github.io/CommonDataModel/sqlScripts.html#Drug_Eras The output of this script doesn't match the DRUG_ERA table.

This script also doesn't calculate gap_days, just asserts it is looking for 30 days out.

Has this been solved already? This forum post shows the need of having this fixed (the old query is apparently very slow on some databases). Also, the comments of Chris here on the condition era are relevant.
