GUI freezes and 'Stops Responding' while extracting a game package.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

Opening any XBLA package in the GUI.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

The GUI should not freeze completely while the extraction is taking place. A 
progress bar, or log window should be displayed instead.
