Migrate email notifications to NixOS infra
Currently, nix.dev pages include a field for adding an email address to receive notifications of updated or newly-published tutorials, which posts the form to a cachix endpoint.
To avoid any appearance of/potential for impropriety, it would be ideal to migrate these email notifications to official NixOS infrastructure. Do we have the capacity to support something like this?

I wonder if we have the capacity to support something like this.
I think Nix already have a newsletter: https://weekly.nixos.org/ (Not sure if the page is up to date since I just received one on 1 July 2023). So, maybe we can replace the sidebar widget with a link to that?
We almost certainly don't have the capacity and @NixOS/marketing-team explicitly offered support with outreach for community teams, part of which is the "weekly".

This is very concerning: the last action on the repository was 2022-04-11. If the NixOS Weekly is still being published, where is the source?
@garbas @idabzo
I think we (the new infra team) may actually have the capacity to help. If you could define exactly what kind of software you need deployed we can have a look.

The last post I see is from 2021. EDIT: same in the RSS.

It looks like it was going to Mailchimp. Either we host a new mailing list software or get a new subscription from the NixOS Foundation.
I'd like to leave the responsibility for outreach on the marketing team, so I suggest discussing requirements with them.
