Cannot visualize New Version LWE result file by importing "Pulse 1 buffer" — empty in time and frequency domain, even with Max Z = 0

Hi,there I encountered an issue when trying to visualize the results of an LWE simulation. I attempted to load the result file using Pulse 1 buffer. I also tried setting Max Z = 0 to check the initial pulse. However, both the time-domain and frequency-domain fields are empty, there's no visible signal or data.

If this turns out not to be a bug in LWE, but rather a misuse or external issue, I’ll happily close or delete the issue. I just wanted to confirm whether this behavior is intended or if something has changed in the latest version.

Thanks for your time and support!

Hi there, could you please re-download the latest release, https://github.com/NickKarpowicz/LightwaveExplorer/releases/latest/download/LightwaveExplorerWin64.zip and let me know if it doesn't work there? There was a problem on Windows when loading fields that I fixed a little while ago... Best, Nick

Hi there, Thanks for the quick response! I tried importing the lwe results, but it seems like the import failed. I'm not sure if I missed something. I attempted to import either the ***_Ext.dat file or the .zip file directly from the source folder, and I set Max z to 0. However, from the interactive interface, it looks like it didn't work. That said, I think Lightwave Explorer is an awesome project — really impressive work! 🙌 In practice, I don’t think this is a major issue, since the results from lwe can be used directly in simulations without needing to re-import them. I was mostly just curious about the “source file” button and what it’s meant to do. Best regards Image
