Dashboard and hourly/15min pricing

Open stikstone opened this issue 4 months ago • 1 comments

Hello. For me ei seems, that arska is showing the dashboard allways with 15min price, no matter if 1h or 15min is selected. Not really a big deal, but i'm still billed with 1h pricing, and would like to follow the hourly mid price. And how do hour based variables use the 15minute price? Is it taking the average or what?

Hi, Yes, prices are now (from Sep 01 2025) showed only in 15 minutes periods in the graph. "Old" rank variables 1-4 are based on hour average.

And new (MTU15) variables 51, 52, 53, 54 and 61 are 15-minute period based rankings. E.g. if you migrate rule (cheapest 50% of a 8-hour block) from hour based "hour avg rank in 8 h block (variable 4) <= 4" you should rewrite it like "hour avg rank in 8 h block (variable 54) <= 16".

But, concerning your point - Yes, average price within current hour is missing from the variables and it can be a problem if your billing will be based on hourly average for a longer period (old energy meter) and you want to use absolute price (not just rankings) in the rules.
