(Feature request) Add the option to update github apps

It would be great to be able to update github apps that are not fetched by the other providers. It could be done by the user manually adding the release page of the app.

Just in case you don't know: That's exactly what the izzyondroid repo does, if you want to add an app from github you can open an issue here: https://gitlab.com/IzzyOnDroid/repo/-/issues

This isn't always the best solution. Having to ask somebody else for permission do add an app and having to wait for each app to be seperatly added is already not great but the app might not even be accepted into the repo (for exemple when the app is already the fdroid repo, even if their are often behind the official repo).

IzzyOnDroid is a great solution for having an additional set of apps you can search through when looking for new apps, but sometime, it would be really usefull to be able to add apps on your own.

@Jegah @DaniAndTheWeb I'm afraid it's beyond the scope of this app as merely an unofficial F-Droid client. What you're looking for is this https://github.com/DUpdateSystem/UpgradeAll (already listed in F-Droid).

@momobobe thanks for pointing out to the project, this may be a good inspiration for a later implementation (as this is a low-priority matter for us)

Thanks for link, I'll check it out.

It would be nice to be able to update all apps from a unified store, and Neo Store is by the best client available. Sadly some apps can't be added at all to repos like IzzyOnDroid (for example anything from GrapheneOS because the devs asked to not be included https://gitlab.com/IzzyOnDroid/repo/-/issues/252 )

Hopefully at some point this because doable. Until then, thanks for your work! I enjoy using your app practically every day!

Well, I know it has been almost a year, but I'm here to ask you again if you'll consider adding this feature because it will be very useful and convenient, I know you talked about izzyondroid but that won't solve the issue, there are multiple apps so it will be a pain to ask for each one, also there are some large apps that won't be included anyway because of their size or some other reason.

And I also know about Obtainium, but that app is still in the early stages and it's not stable neither convenient as Neo Store.

So please give it a thought.

Please, add this function... at least to be able to manage updates from just two apps... there is already the Play Store, but being able to manage or manually add apps from github would avoid having too many apps in the background looking for updates

It's not planned for 1.0.0, but has landed on my longer todo-list, maybe for 1.1.0/1.2.0(2.0.0?)
