Will this ever get updated? I also can't download the pre-release of 1.11 anymore

You can download and build the latest version by yourself. Just click the button labeled "Code" on the main repository page to download, the follow the instructions given in Docs > Contributing > Building to compile the source code.

If there is any need of an update, please provide more infomation on the issue(s) you are experiencing. Also feel free to provide a PR which conforms to pull requests as well as coding style.

You can also check the forks of this repository to find other and possibly more recent versions of this software.
