Volumetric Lighting Smears away in minetest
Volumetric Lighting will appear, but fades away during movement legacy fog mode seems to be stable.

Steps to reproduce: Make a world. Enable volumetric lighting in that minetest world.

I am not able to reproduce this with a clean config, might be caused by misconfiguration.
