Torchlight 2: RTX Remix, then game itself, fails to lock vertex buffer
Describe the bug
- RTX Remix is unable to lock the game's vertex buffer, which leads to the game itself being unable to lock the vertex buffer, resulting in a crash with a log (included under Attach logs! as
Ogre.log). - 0.1.1
- Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop
- 531.68
- v.1.25.5.6, Steam
Attach logs!
To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Place the included local_settings.txt in
%USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\Runic Games\Torchlight 2\ - Unzip the included rtx.conf and place it in the game's root folder.
- Run the game through Steam. When prompted, run without mods.
- Leave the game running at the start menu for, at most, 1 minute. You can start a new game or load an existing one and reach step 5 eventually, but the start menu is the place where the error most quickly and reliably occurs.
- See error.
Expected behavior Unknown. Best guess is RTX Remix and the game should be able to negotiate access to the vertex buffer.
