Describe the bug
Connecting a second monitor freezes KDE Plasma (6.3.6) widgets and panels on Wayland. Behavior continues when booting with a dual monitor connection. Behavior is resolved when disconnecting other monitors.
To Reproduce
- On Debian 13 (trixie) using driver version 580.82.07 via cuda repository.
- Connect a second monitor via HDMI (DP unable to be tested)

Same issue for me but on gnome. What iGPU do you have?
For me it seems to be connected with iGPU. Restarting gdm though ssh I see a spam of:
[drm:amdgpu_cs_ioctl [amdgpu]] *ERROR* Not enough memory for command submission!
Wierdly multiple screens seem to work in GDM before login, The fail seems to happen only after entering gnome shell
I'm using dGPU with iGPU disabled but it's an AMD Ryzen 5800H.
The issue hasn't happened since I updated my kernel. It's now on whatever the latest is for Debian security updates.
@aetriusgx would it be ok to close out this issue then given your recent experience?
