Can you make it easier for the user to use?

I find it hard to adjust the value very quickly. Each time I swipe the handle to the side, I have to wait for the animation of it bouncing back to finish before I can swipe again. Also, the + and - on the two sides are too small for tapping. Can you make the + and - buttons' clickable area bigger?
