Did not Install on 2.8

Downloaded zip Renamed as recommended to CommandRecorder.zip Tried to install in Blender 2.8

Noting even appears in Preference window. Eve did a search in PPreferences... nothing

Okay... figured out what is wrong, According to your page on You instruct to remove the "2.8-master" from the ZIP filename

Which I did.

I went and checked the blender plugin folder where the addon should be stored, and it is there. However, the folder name is "CommanderRecorder2.8-master" I renamed the folder to "CommanderRecorder" Reopened Blender and it showed up in Pref.

Enabled it and it works

You need to rename the actual folder inside your zip too before people download your zip file.

I keep getting this weird issue even after renaming

I uninstall and rename the zip and it works now ... on Blender 2.82 alpha. Weird.
