[REQUEST] Changing the output resolution

Open LadyTequila opened this issue 5 months ago • 2 comments

Describe your request

Dear developers, I'm wondering if I can adjust the WSA's output resolution on my will? The resolution by default is 2160x1600( which is the resolution of my computer screen). I tried using ADB commands to adjust the output to 1080p, but the result is a bit glitchy, result in incomplete app interface. Am I doing anything wrong? Or there're other ways to achieve this goal?

go to the playstore and download Nova Launcher. From there, you can open the settings app of the android device and then enable developer options. go into developer options and search "screen width" I personally set a 720 DPI on this setting.

keep in mind, this workaround is not persistent. for example, sometimes when you wake your pc from sleep, you'll have to change the screen width back to your preferred setting. other times, if you close out WSA or restart your pc, you'll also have to change the DPI back
