[BUG]WSA is not working
Describe the bug
When launching third-party APKs, the app freezes on the logo screen. Reinstalling WSA repeatedly has no effect. I have tried two versions:
WSA_2407.40000.4.0_x64_Release-Nightly-MindTheGapps-13.0-RemovedAmazon
WSA_2407.40000.4.0_x64_Release-Nightly-with-magisk-b1dc47a0.29001-canary-GApps-13.0-NoAmazon
Both versions crash immediately.

Tried to open the APK of the app https://www.coolapk.com/.

same here it says the new version should work but it doesnt at all I've reinstalled WSA more than ten times, updated the graphics drivers many times, and done a full system reinstallation three times, but never suspected that this could be caused by a bug in WSA itself.
I'm very sorry to open another issue because I missed the previous one, but the problem still persists. I also tested WSA_2407.40000.4.0_x64_Release-Nightly-with-magisk-29.0.29000.-stable-GApps-13.0, and the same issue occurs.
@GeekHank @ANON17343 I am investigating a number of app that are not working with the newer ARM translation layer used on the latest builds. Please can you confirm where or not there are other apps have the same issue.
It would be helpful if you can provide a full list of the apps that are not fuctioning for you on the latest LTS and Non-LTS builds.

I will add (i dont know if its app-related or not) TCG Pokèmon Poket
@MustardChef well the apps i know of are official ps app, official lsc smart connect, official ycc365 plus app, and anilab app and onstream app those are non playstore apps. so basicaaly every app i use doesnt work
The latest version of WSA tiktok crashes severely and is almost unusable. The WSA ARM layer was still normal before it expired on June 2. The ARM layer WSA_2210.40000.7.0 is the most stable.

Tested Tiktok (don't really use the app, but want to help here), can confirm, even on the latest WSA build, crashes almost instantly. (Before the lastest WSA update would just hang at logo, and before June 1st worked normally.
What I can also add is that other apps that after June 1st would hang ARE fixed for me, at least the two I use, Epic Seven (game) & Outerplane (game), both would hang at logo after June 1st, but latest WSA made them run perfectly again.

Tried latest WSA builds. The apps can work for 1 seconds after launch, then it crashes. Clearing data or reinstall can extends the working time to like 10 seconds.

I only use a few apps, so far this is the only one that has encountered issues. When launching the app, it displays an animation. Each time I reinstall it or clear data, the animation plays to completion and then crash. Starting from the second launch onward, the animation stops abruptly within one second and crashes.
It is a Chinese app, just click the blue button (Agree the terms) at first launch

After more testing, this app will not ANR before agreeing to the user agreement. ANR only occurs like 10 seconds after clicking 'Agree' button.

The same crazy problem occupied to my installation today. My installation is made with WSA_2407.40000.4.0_x64_Release-Nightly-with-magisk-28.1.28100.-stable-GApps-13.0.7z . After change may Windows local time to 2025/6/1 20:16 , it works. Then I reset the time settings, and apps frizzed as comments above.
For reference, here is something about my machine:
- Windows11, 24H2, 26100.4202
- WSA Version 2407.40000.4.0
- Installed with
WSA_2407.40000.4.0_x64_Release-Nightly-with-magisk-28.1.28100.-stable-GApps-13.0.7z - Installed apps like Twitch, Wikipedia, Google Play Store and so on. Except GApps, others are the latest version could download,
And, it is crazy that the problem could be solved easily by setting machine time to some time before 2/6/2025. What a joke MS did!
