Feature Request: send a signal to mpd to enable/disable verbose logging

Does anyone think it would be useful to be able to send mpd a signal (eg. sigusr1) to enable and disable (ie. toggle) verbose logging? I know it's a first world problem but having to stop mpd, edit the config file to enable verbose logging, restart mpd, capture the logs, stop mpd, edit the config file to disable verbose logging and restart mpd is a little convoluted. Being able to send a signal to temporarily capture logs would be much easier.
