Microsoft accounts are not refreshing

When a server is restarted, sometimes the account connection in the client is broken. Previously (non-microsoft account), it would reconnect if you restarted the instance. But with microsoft accounts, I have to go to the account settings screen and refresh the account even though it says the status is Online. There is no indication that this needs to be done other than once the instance has re-loaded, it's still off-line

This needs to be fixed. It is extremely annoying to go into the account settings every time.

Also every time a load up a huge modpack, that needs many minutes to load, I have to restart the game. So please give this some attention :(

Hi there, I'm also interested in this topic. Could a middle ground be a refresh button on the main screen (for instance in the top bar left of the account name) that would change color when the account if offline? It would at least reduce the number of clicks needed to go to the account setting.
