Lookup Dropdown Filtering to Related Rows

I may be missing something, but is there an option to have the control filter to related rows only? It doesn't appear to honor the ootb configuration. I see that you can make it dependent on a lookup field, but not child records

To provide a little more context, I have a header table called "Draft", under that Draft table, there are child records called "Options". On the Draft Header I have a field for Primary Option. I want to be able to have a selection of those child records related to the current record.

Can you try to configure this in classic editor? It seems there might be a bug in defining custom controls properties for lookup in modern designer
