Token not updated to what I upload.

Whenever i edit some tokens, specifically the ones that have the "(wildcard)" next to their categories they never change. Idk if this is Tokenizer but any help would be great!

Your video is not working.

Darn idk why. It works for me. I will reupload. Either way i think i found a workaround for now. | In every "Prototype Token" setting you need to uncheck 2 things in "appearance" 1. "Randomize Wildcard Images" 2. "Dynamic Token Ring" When i do that Tokenizer works as it did before.

What seems to cause this problem is Tokenizer working with the newest update of "Pathfinder Tokens: Bestiaries" because they it incorporated "Randomize Wildcard Images and Dynamic Token Rings" to work with Pathfinder Tokens: Bestiaries. This means that only monsters with art from Pathfinder Tokens: Bestiaries have this problem and you can use the workaround above. This is all a educated guess as ive been testing in a world with only these two modules enabled and it seems to still be happening.

Thanks, @heyzoms, that workaround saved my life.

Confirming that disabling "Dynamic token ring" in the second tab of the prototype token options solves this problem. What an infuriating bug. For anyone else googling and pulling their hair out, if the token on the canvas is not showing the correct image, THIS IS WHAT YOU DO TO WORK AROUND.

Just found this today and solved the same issue. Thanks! Wish we could get a proper fix for this

4.5.3 contains 3 new settings:

  • Reset token scaling on save
  • Force disable of dynamic token ring
  • Check for Wildcard Asterix, which will check to make sure tokens checked as wildcards really are.

Please note some of the PF2e tokens are genuine wildcards and will still be treated as such. I will work on getting a UI toggle/indication for this in the future, but should address the main issues.

I did this, it still isn't functioning for me. This isn't the case for all tokens, just.. several.

You need to enable the 3 settings I mention above
