Support for automatic subtitle placement for video elements

At TPAC 2019 there was interest around standardization for spherical video: https://github.com/immersive-web/proposals/issues/55

One of the areas of interest and pain points for developers appears to be placement of subtitles and captions in a spherical video, as this is much more complex than on a flat video given that the pose is always changing.

The immersive-custom-elements is a great module to leverage for developers wanting to include 360-video support into their websites at the present time, however it would still benefit web developers with support for automatic subtitle placement.

This issue descibes this need in more detail.
