Mod not working with the 2024 update of the steam version

With the update that introduced various improvements including native mod support, the mod no longer launches the game correctly. This is due to the update including dxwrapper, which hijacks dx9 after the mod itself.

Workaround

• Rename the d3d9.dll to d3d9.dll.bak and d3dx9_30.dll to d3d9.dll.bak
• To revert the workaround change the names back to there original names

dont have d3d9.dll and i changed d3dx9_30.dll to d3d9.dll=freeze before menu d3dx9_30.dll.bak=freeze before menu i cant play with your mod :(

You can also try to switch to the 2014 beta build in steam. That might be the previous version.

Sorry, I do not really have much motivation to work on this mod further, let alone fix it for this new steam release.
