Unable to save

After doing a recording, saving doesn't seem to work. It just hangs, and I have to force a shutdown of the process.

Same here. This happened twice for me, recorded for about 10 minutes and 5 minutes each time. I clicked stop recording and it stopped responding. It did however work for a few 30 second recordings I made when testing, but it had dropped tons of frames.

I'm up-to-date on system updates, currently:

Built on Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS
Linux 4.15.0-70-generic
GTK 3.22.30

AMD Ryzen 5 2600X Six-Core Processor × 6
NVIDIA Corporation GP106 [GeForce GTX 1060 3GB] (rev a1)
16.4 GB memory
489.4 GB storage

I've got the same issue: The recordings won't save after a certain time (usually after long span of time). I think it can be attributed to issues #32, #36 & #28.

@Mohelm97 I think the recorder needs a time-elapsed indicator and the command line launch requires debugging log; Hope you can fix it... :)

I came here to report this same issue with the latest version 0.2. It basically means that, in its current state, the program is not usable for recordings longer than just a few minutes.

The application does seem to create files for the recordings, sized approx 8-9 MB, in /tmp/ but they are not usable.
