Would be great to be able to attach encoder to multiplexer inputs
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. A clear and concise description of what the problem is. Ex. I'm always frustrated when [...] As it is now it appears that you can only attach buttons to input multiplexers. I am looking to migrate from SimVim to MobiFlight, and already have some G1000 panels where encoders connect to MUXs.

Describe alternatives you've considered A clear and concise description of any alternative solutions or features you've considered. **Stuck at the moment. My current configuration leverages 10x MUXs for inputs and all buttons and encoders are connected to the MUXs.

I am running into the same problem. I am migrating from SimVim with some avionics that have encoders on the mux inputs.
Bumping up this request, as I am in the process of creating a G1000 look-alike with pretty much the above MUX / encoder issue as well. I would love to have this MobiFlight compatible, because creating and maintaining my own source code for something that already exists for 97% is not something I aspire to do ;)
