Thanks for this

Just wanted to say thanks for putting this together. I'm so completely pleased I can get to my server consoles again without having to hack jnlp files or install Java 8.

This fixed an issue I had with virtual media no longer working at all after upgrading to the 3.62 BMC/IPMI firmware.

Thanks, Calvin! 😄

I too would like to express my gratitude for creating this script 🙂 It worked quite well on my Supermicro X10DRG-HT mainboard running firmware 3.90, BIOS 3.4, Redfish 1.0.1. The X10 boards supports HTML5 iKVM, which works well as a remote console, but the HTML5 console does not support virtual media. Using your script I was able to mount the installation media and install the OS remotely.

I also appreciate the debug version of the Docker image which helped me find out that I had entered the wrong IP to the X10 BMC in the docker-compose file.

Thanks!

Thank you for writing this up! I had some infrastructure at home go down and this helped alot debugging it. My old tool just stopped working. ❤

Thank you x1000 ❤️

I've spent the last 2 days trying to IPMI install a base OS (from ISO) on a new (but ancient) colo I just got. It would constantly just not work (web ipmi) or plain crash (ipmiview). I feel like I tried everything over the course of 6h... NOTHING WORKED.

This did the trick ON THE FIRST ATTEMPT!
