[IDEA] Fix taskbar autohide animation from Windows
Currently, the Windows Taskbar autohide animation is really choppy and not smooth at all:
Windows does have smooth taskbar hide animation integrated, but only for UWP apps:
Maybe it's possible to overwrite the behavior to have the smooth animation globally?
It's just my personal guess: Maybe animations don't work the same way in UWP apps and in desktop environment. In UWP apps, taskbar animations are drawn by DWM. It's actually covered by the full-screen window. While in desktop environments, taskbar animations are achieved by panning the "window" of the taskbar to the outside of the screen. To change this, We may need to recompile the explorer or its .mui file. But I guess Microsoft should have the ability to implement it in the new version of Windows 11 taskbar. :( I don't know much about any of this, it's just a guess based on my daily experience.
