mqtt user/password

Maybe a DAU question - but where do I get the MQTT User/Password from?

You need to configure the MQTT broker to run (i.e. the HA add-on) on the computer, on which your HA runs. You should then be able to use the user/passwort of any HA-user.

In YOUR homeassistant installation, configuration.yaml is where I set mine years ago.

Or Settings / Add-ons / Mosquitto broker / Configuration. You will see it maybe in the Logins sections.
