Openmandriva and clear linux isos not showing up in boot menu

Open Mmanish7 opened this issue 1 month ago • 1 comments

Isos for openmandriva and clear linux are not visible on the grub menu.

Upon contacting an admin, they said the multios usb should be supporting raw disk images.

Does this support? Or should I make any modifications? If so, please help me out with this.

MultiOS-USB supports mostly all ISOs that come with a loopback.cfg file in the /boot/grub/ inside the ISO. Sometimes the loopback config isn't very well configured or just doesn't exist. In those cases there are some custom configs, configs from upstream MultiOS-USB/config and you can also add your own to MultiOS-USB/config_priv/<custom required folder>/

You can use the examples in the given folder config_priv/examples/ to make your own custom config, or use one of the configs from MultiOS-USB/config/ as your inspiration. On most computers you can open the ISO and search for the /boot/grub/grub.cfg file and take your inspiration from that file to add menuentries/submenus to your custom config file.

I'll first let you try to make a config file yourself. If you need any help, let me know.
