Splitting geometry while recording

Suspicious behaviour: The form data gets lost when you split geometry before saving it

To reproduce:

1. Record a polygon in a polygon layer
2. Fill in some form data
3. Hit edit geometry button before saving it
4. Choose 'Split geometry' from the three dots options
5. Split the polygon
6. Both polygons are saved without the form data and one polygon is yellow... 🟡 🙃
