Ignoring erroneous scan folder contents / or exit with error message
Hello, following the twitter chat I'm submitting an issue that requests a feature which 'ignores' an erroneous item in a RAWcooked folder. For example, each folder scanned at MACE comes with a weird 'perftest.raw' sidecar which I have to delete prior to successful cooking. It's only a couple of KB in size, so should slip through the net but always trips up the process. Also could be useful for files that fall into the stream by accident... it can happen (to me!)
Would it be possible for the software to flag this additional file, or exit with an error message that hints at the cause?
Many thanks, Joanna
Do I understand correctly if I say that you would need either or both:
- a black list (ignore/exit if file name is in a list)
- a white list (ignore/exit if file name is not in a list and obviously is not an A/V content)
How would you propose defining a list? User suggestions? I assume any GE4 users are getting this perftest.raw file - so that would be one for it.
Either/or suits me - whatever seems practical for broad use :)

User choice on command line and/or in config. But it would also be possible to add templates done by users if useful.
That sounds great! In config particularly. We don't need to retain this perftest.raw, but it's a major pain clearing it out of the way everytime. Templates sounds cool too! 👍
+1 for user config on command / config file +1 for templates
