How to Detect Corrupt Files?

I know this sounds like a dumb question, but how do you use MediaConch to detect corrupt video files? And is there a quick and easy way to figure it out? Or is it a long and complicated process? I'm curious because accidentally got some mild scratches on a 4K Blu-Ray before I copied it and I want to make sure the scratch didn't cause any issues before I have my computer spend 4-5 hours compressing it. On the other hand, I have read on Blu-Ray.com that this movie might have been upscaled, so it might not be worth it to encode it even if my digital copy is flawless.

For your case, bluray files, MediaConch currently does not parse this container for issues you are looking for and only the policy checker is usable.

Is there anything else I could use to detect file corruption?
