Web Services Contribution Offer

Open fernandosantucci opened this issue 8 years ago • 3 comments

When you are deploying the web service to the image repository, what do you have in mind:

1. Use a pre-existing image repository site (with sharing restrictions and the threat of increased fees) or; 2. Develop a RESTful API on the backend with proper rules to ensure the preservation of static assets without storage costs?

If your choice is for the second option, I can contribute by developing both:

Backend (RESTful API):

  • Build with Webpack
  • Node + Express + Typescript
  • MongoDB + Mongoose
  • Authentication and Authorization with PassportJS and JWT - JSON Web Token
  • Testing with Mocha + Chai + Joi + SuperTest

Frontend (Web):

  • Build with Angular CLI
  • Node + Angular 5 + Typescript
  • Angular Material Design
  • RXjs
  • Testing with Karma + Jasmine + Protractor

The end of year is very busy for me, I need to delay the feature. But if we go to webservice, we need a open source server that can be hosted at home or a public instance.

Well, anyway I'm developing an application on this platform on servers of my company and when you need to build a CRUD of images stored in the base64 format in MongoDB in the mold of the site UserLogos.org will not be a big effort.

We can start with the hosting in my web server that has fiber-optic connection in Brazil, with no costs involved. Later, we can think of a hosting in the USA and/or Europe (France).

To evolve this brainstorm is better in PM on Facebook Messenger.
