Does this allow to modify for dc fast charging using R4875G2 CAN-BUS-control-R4875G1-with-ESPHome-and-MQTT im trying to design a fast charger based on the above open source pdf and the huawei R4875G2 which allows voltage and current control over can. if im not wrong it has a superimposed high level communication mentioned as below: 7 COMMUNICATIONS 7.1 Digital Communication Between the EV Supply Equipment and the EV Digital communication is optional for Modes 1, 2 and 3. For Mode 4 the digital communication as described in IEC 61851-24, shall be provided to allow the EV to control the EV supply equipment. NOTE — Digital communication as described in ISO/IEC 15118 series is also called high level communication.

It has been a while since I worked in the EV business, but looking at the code it supports DC charging: https://github.com/search?q=repo%3AMartin-P%2FOpenV2G+DC_&type=code Not sure though if there are any specific messages needed for DC fast charging.

I can't find any datasheets of the R4875G2, but if it can provide enough power for DC fast charging you can probaby use it. If a single unit does not provide enough power, you could stack some units to provide enough power. I know charger manufacturers who use this module from PRE (Dutch company): http://www.pr-electronics.nl/en/products_service/4/products-charger-modules/

I hope this little bit of information helps you further in designing a fast charger.
