MiniAMR versions

In the readme, miniAMR versions are described as miniAMR_ref and miniAMR_serial. However, in the directory there is only openmp and ref folders. In the README, miniAMR_ref is defined as self-contained MPI parallel. What is the difference between those two src directories?
