[Gene_Level_Functional_Predictions]: tryptophan catabolic process is always the top hit
Gene Level Functional Predictions:
We were very interested in the process "tryptophan catabolic process " always being the most correlated at a z score of > 65 in the correlation engine.
Unfortunately, it appears to be the top hit independent of gene name.
Could you confirm this is a bug?
With thanks.

@winhide Thank you for reporting this observation. I did find some genes where it wasn't the case but not many.
It's not at all immediately obvious to me why this might be, it will probably take us some time to look into it. I also noticed some similarity in the predicted mouse phenotype hits so the method will need to be scrutinized.
Hi @winhide Thank you for letting us know about it. This appyter was developed by a summer student who did not complete the project because of limited time in the lab. Based on your observation, something is really not done right so we should take this appyter down until we figure it out. In the meantime, I recommend trying this appyter https://appyters.maayanlab.cloud/#/PrismEXP which provides similar functionality.
