KIMERA VIO ROS doesn't compile.

Hi I have ROS melodic working with opencv 4.4 and all pkgs related compiled with it (bridge etc) I just need a light guide. Does Kimera VIO ROS work with ROS aiming to OpenCV 4.4 instead 3.3.1 built in melodic? GTSAM, Kimera VIO are successfully installed in my home, but under ROS it will install again Gtsam (compiled good, now I have 2) and again Kimera VIO , but this second fails opencv3 related error. I tried remove the kimera vio and gtdam packges from carkin and compile using my system wide installation of them, but not luck. Any short advice? In example a flag in catkin aiming my kimera VIO installation in home? Sorry if I didn't explain very good, I'm begginer
