NOAA Marine Environmental Buoy Database Name of product or service: NOAA Marine Environmental Buoy Database
Type of change: Product will be decommissioned
Description of change: NCEI's NOAA Marine Environmental Buoy Database which is a map based dissemination point for archived C-MAN station and moored buoy data from the National Data Buoy Center will be decommissioned and the web site removed from service on May 30, 2025. These C-MAN station and moored buoy data will continue to be archived and made available through the HTTPS (https://www.ncei.noaa.gov/data/oceans/ndbc/) and THREDDS (https://www.ncei.noaa.gov/thredds-ocean/catalog/ndbc/cmanwx/catalog.html) data access points. The planned service's retirement date is May 30, 2025.
