Browser won't open

I had the app open and it was working, but once i closed it it wouldn't open again or update. i deleted the file in my file explorer and redownloaded it to try and reboot the process, but now it won't open the browser for me to select my account and actually get it running. i've opened task manager and it says that the app starts running when i open it, but there's nothing to see.
