Version of 2022 is messed up

I was using the extension in msvc 2019 -- it was working fine. Then, I upgraded to 2022, and now I have no idea how to get this extension to load the file with the cmd-line data. You would think that it would be as easy as putting the file back in the place it was before, but nope -- that doesn't work. Tried a bunch of other stuff, too. While trying to troubleshoot the issue, I also clicked on the "Use Solution Directory" option; what a mistake. Now, the extension just deletes the config file whenever I put it in the solutions directory. Why in the 7 hells would it delete your data?

This is a nice, useful, extension but something is wrong with the 2022 version.
