need setting to block apps from Wi-Fi or bluetooth change state permission

Your device has a Wi-Fi modem (And Bluetooth modem) That modem has a unique mac address hard wired to it. When it is on it advertises that mac address to any listening devices it reaches. (Routers, smart phones, really any Wi-Fi device)

Various companies like Wal-Mart and governments (Canadian government has admitted) track that mac address. Where they can (air ports, government buildings, Wal-Mart's, and who knows where else)

That is not saying your apps are passing the firewall to get to the internet. But you and your location is tracked just with the Wi-Fi modem or Bluetooth modem on.

And I personally really don't like that any app can turn on my Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. with no notice given. On my device right now the apps that can change Wi-Fi state (If I'm reading everything correctly) include Fdroid Opera Firefox Rumble Camera Orfox gravitybox System ui Ad2p volume Settings Mobile data

And I'm just starting to install fresh with less than 1/4 of the apps I expect to install..

How many of these apps should be able to turn on Wi-Fi with my direct intervention?

So yes personally I think it's a privacy issue. It has nothing to do with the internet. But still much to do with privacy.

+1 here too I never realized, Now it's creepy to know that at any time some app could turn on my Wi-Fi or Bluetooth with me being asked.
