Game Not Starting / Crashing with Display Port

I'm not sure if it's possible to fix this issue, I've looked everywhere and not found a solution, but when launching RE5 on Display Port the game opens and instantly black screens / closes. I tested launching RE5 on my second monitor (HDMI) and it opens with no problems, but switching RE5 back to my main monitor makes it either crash or make my PC just break.
