"immutability" of values in kdeglobals ignored
At the bottom of my ~/.config/kdeglobals file there is the section [WM]. In this section I find the item "activeForeground". After searching a little I decided to "lock down" this value by putting [$i] in it so it would read like this: activeForeground[$i]=255,255,255 Only that has absolutely no effect. The colors of the active foreground are just as easily overwritten as when I wouldn't have put the "[$i] in it. Could be I'm overlooking something...
Oh, and I'm using the fantastic Lightly widget theme and the Lightly window decoration theme. Lightly is beautiful.
I'm very sorry to have bothered you. I understand now that this issue works a little less intuitive than I had thought but it works excellent. It has to do with the second file kdeglobals that is to be found in the folder ~/.config/kdedefaults. I can have exactly what I want now. And it is no bug and it certainly has nothing to do with Lightly...
