Battery issue using Loop 3.x with Medtronic 722
This issue was reported earlier and closed indicating in dev version changes are made which will improve battery life when Loop was using with Medtronic 722. We have seen with Loop 3.2.3 and Medtronic 722, the battery drains with 2-3 days. Where as battery in loop with Medtronic 715 stays for more than 7 days. Any possible clue to maximize battery life..??
Please indicate earlier issue number.
Thanks Earlier number ‘The insulin pump battery loses power quickly #1828’
I have tried the dev branch version(Loop 3.3) as suggsted in Case #1828 and the battery drain issue still persists.
I wonder if there might be a hardware problem with your pump. With my 522, the battery lasts about a week.
It is not a pump hardware issue..as my friends also facing same problem with 722. Also without Loop, the same pump battery lasts for more than 10-15 days.. Where as 715 battery lasts for about week..
Check your loop report to see if there are a bunch of RileyLink communication errors. Try a spare rileylink compatible device.
Thank you so much for the response..I will see the communication errors. I have already tried with Orange Link and the result is same. However, with the same loop application and rileylink, Medtronic 715 battery lasts for about a week. This problem is being faced by many who are using 722 as seen in the facebook group. Thanks again for the response..I will share communication errors
