[Feature] Make text scaling resolution-agnostic
Thanks for the amazing app!
Right now, universal text scaling is only changed by changing the resolution, making higher resolutions like 4k generate unusably small text. There should be a universal way to scale text in project settings that is not effected by the resolution.
OS: Windows 11 Cinecred: 1.7.0
At least during project creation, text should automatically be scaled up if you select a higher resolution, but this was broken in 1.7.0 – the fix will ship in a couple of days in the form of 1.8.0. Complementary to that however, I agree that a global text scaling slider would be convenient. It's on my ToDo list.
Cinecred 1.8.0 has just released, and now automatically scales up text when selecting a higher resolution during project creation.
@LoadingByte I still have this issue with 1.8.0

ah, ok so the issue is I needed to create a new project. A little annoying because I have to now manually copy over the styling from one toml file to another
Yes, I agree that it's not optimal for existing projects, but at least new projects will now have properly sized text in the default template. I hope this will make the issue go away for most people.
A global scale slider that works after the fact is still on my ToDo list, but until then, you could just set your project resolution to 2K and then apply a x2 resolution multiplier during delivery. This actually renders natively in 4K with uniformly scaled up content.
