Adjusting the avatar/logo proportions to rectangular

Description
When uploading a logo as profile picture, it gets rounded and therefore not clearly visible. I was able to see there was already a request here: https://github.com/LinkStackOrg/LinkStack/issues/220 and it seems to be fixed, however seems not working on 4.8.4.

How to reproduce
Upload a rectangular logo and it gets put in the circle. Used different themes but same behaviour
Possible Solution
An option to select if the logo/picture should be rounded or used the original instead.

It seems I need to refinde the description. It seems a rectangular logo works, however what are the dimensions because in my case left and rights gets cutted.
This is the issue described, I have a large Logo in PNG format and it puts it behind a circle, the Theme I'm using is the Stargazer-1.9 I modified the brand.css file on the zip commenting the Rounded-avatar section, but even after re-zipping the theme and uploading it it shows the logo the same. Here I attach the screenshot of the Commented Section:
