Will Minecraft VR ever work?
Hi, I saw that Minecraft Windows 10 VR doesn't work, but I also saw that you said that there might be some possibility for it to work about a year ago. I was wondering if this is still plausible to fix and if not, why not. I know this is a known issue so I guess this falls into the feature request section, but feel free to mark it as duplicate. And before you say that vivecraft is an option, I know, I just like the controller support and cross-platform abilities of the Windows 10 edition.
Which game or application is your request about? Minecraft Windows 10 edition
Is your request related to a problem? Please describe. It's a known problem that shortly after entering immersive mode the game crashes for no apparent reason.
Describe the solution you'd like I would like it to not crash and instead be playable.
Describe alternatives you've considered I honestly don't know very much about this type of stuff, I just was wondering why it was so difficult to implement.
@GBAGuy007 minecraft win10 edition uses OpenXR, if you have an SteamVR headset, you need to set your main OpenXR runtime as steamvr, search in google how to set it
Hi, thanks for your response. I didn't know you could skip Revive entirely, that makes this so much easier! Are you sure it will work with steam though? After finding that it was already set as the main runtime for open xr, I opened Minecraft and it ran. The problem was my headset was stuck on a screen that says "Next Up" and I could only see the game through my monitor. The game was also using consistently more Ram to the point where it crashed after a few minutes of use (I have 16gb of Ram). Is there a way to solve one or both of these problems?

At this point the best we can hope for is a steam port of bedrock with steamvr support, Revive is sadly dead, and even if it wasn't im sure uwp isnt very fun to try and get working with revive.
@Bitwolfies It already has SteamVR support through OpenXR. It doesn't have to be on Steam to support SteamVR.
